The plan below is what StackTether will cost when billing opens after the beta. One plan, priced per tech, with every vendor and every AI app included. No usage bills, no setup fee, no "contact us" to find out the price.

Examples on Standard, billed monthly, once billing opens: 3 techs would cost $99, 10 techs $249, and 25 techs $624 a month.

Founding MSP beta

We are opening StackTether to a small group of MSPs before general launch. Founding MSPs get:

• StackTether free until paid billing starts.
• 50% off for the first 12 months of paid billing.
• The launch price locked for 24 months from your first invoice.
• New features as they ship, at no extra cost.
• A direct line to the people building it, and a say in which vendors come next.

Places are limited to 10 MSPs. We ask for regular use by your techs, a short feedback call every two weeks, and honest bug reports. Apply for the beta.

Vendors

Kaseya BMS and Autotask today, including two PSAs at once (a primary and a secondary). ConnectWise PSA, HaloPSA, NinjaOne and Datto RMM are next. New vendors are added at no extra cost. Ask for a vendor.

AI apps

Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Gemini Enterprise, Perplexity, Grok, Cursor, VS Code and local apps on a tech's computer. Your admins choose which apps your MSP allows, and can switch an app off for one person. You pay the AI app vendor for your own AI subscriptions.

Security built in

• Two-factor sign-in for every person, with no way to turn it off.
• Invite-only accounts: nobody joins your MSP unless an admin invites them.
• Vendor API keys stored encrypted in a vault, tested before saving and never shown again.
• Per-person vendor access, chosen by your admins. New techs start with none.
• Read-only tools. StackTether cannot change anything in your PSA today.
• An audit log of every tool call: who, which AI app, which tool, the result, and the record numbers pulled. Never the record contents.
• An unusual-activity guard that warns, slows down or pauses a tech who pulls far more records than usual, and kill switches for your whole MSP.

Fair-use limits

To protect your vendors' API allowances, each tech can make up to 60 tool calls a minute and 1,000 vendor requests an hour, and each MSP up to 2,000 vendor requests an hour. When a limit is reached the AI app is told how long to wait. These limits are never billed.

Billing questions

Can I pay for StackTether today?

No. Billing opens later. Until then, MSPs in the Founding MSP beta use StackTether free. Before any charge, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and apply your founding discount. Apply for the beta.

When does billing start?

After the beta ends. There is no date yet; Founding MSPs will hear from us first, at least 30 days before any charge.

Who counts as a tech?

A tech is an active member of your MSP who has access to at least one vendor connection. Admins and members without vendor access are free, so you never pay for someone who only manages the team. Members who are switched off are not counted.

What happens when I add or remove a tech?

Once billing opens, adding a tech during a billing period will be charged for the rest of that period. Removing a tech, or taking away their vendor access, lowers your next invoice.

Is there a free trial?

Right now new MSPs join through the Founding MSP beta, which is free until paid billing starts. When self-signup opens, every new MSP will get a 14-day free trial with no card needed.

How do I pay?

When billing opens: by card or bank debit (ACH), monthly or yearly, and annual plans by invoice too. Billing is not switched on yet; Founding MSPs hear from us at least 30 days before their first invoice.

Can I cancel?

Yes. During the beta you can leave at any time. Once billing opens, monthly plans can be cancelled at any time and stay active until the end of the period you paid for. Annual plans run to the end of the year you paid for. After your MSP is closed, its data is deleted within 30 days, as described in our privacy policy.

Do you offer a HIPAA business associate agreement, SSO or an uptime SLA?

Not yet. If your MSP needs one of these, tell us so we can plan for it.

Do I need to pay for the AI apps or vendors as well?

Yes. StackTether connects the vendor systems and AI apps you already have. Your PSA, RMM and AI subscriptions are billed by those vendors.
